Hi there, I am Katya! I am the founder, designer, and Chief Crafting Officer here at Kavela. I love all things crafting, and I am pretty confident I was actually born with a sewing machine under my arm!
My three little girls are my inspiration to all things I make, and my husband is my biggest fan. Everything started when my husband bought me my first sewing machine. I thought myself how to sew. After a ton of fabric & many hours of trial an error, I finally sew a perfect bow for my little girl back in 2018. I instantly started sewing delicate bows and everything accessory I could. Once my second baby came, I wanted to make more and try different styles. Now I have three beautiful girls, we are the most perfect team, together we make kavela kids come alive in 2021. What started as a "side hustle" soon took off to become a full-time gig.
